1000+ Christmas Cards and 8 Senior Residences!
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues, we're honored that we had a chance to spread a little holiday cheer to our lower mainland senior homes. We'd like to thank all the volunteers that send us cards this year, helping us reach an unparalleled amount of cards to deliver. We'd especially like to give a huge thank you to all the organizations that worked with us:

With over one thousand cards, we were able to visit 8 senior homes. Thank you to the Ukrainian Senior Citizen Housing of Ivan Franko Society, Gilmore Gardens, Jackson Lam Adult Daycare Centre, Wisteria Place, Rosewood Manor, Courtyard Gardens, Pinegrove Place, and the Richmond Lions Manor for the opportunity to share our Christmas spirit.
As always, we'd like to give a special shoutout to everyone that's supported us since the beginning: Caris, Mark, and Irene - we wouldn't know what we'd be without your annual encouragement and faith in us. From high school to university, your kindness and generosity has only grown.
As our province enters a lockdown once again due to the Omicron variant, we hope everyone stays safe and healthy during the holiday season. Following the provincial restrictions are especially important to us, seeing firsthand how this pandemic has hurt and isolated the seniors in our community. Stay socially distanced, stay kind, and we wish you all a very Merry Christmas! stay kind to one another. We hope you all have a very Merry Christmas and warm holidays!

Cards for Humanity is excited to present our 5th annual holiday card drive!
🎄LOOKING FOR: Homemade or store bought holiday cards (homemade preferred). Write a short, appropriate holiday message inside and you’re good to go!
🎄WHO: Senior homes
🎄HOW MANY? However many you would like to share!
If you are interested in making a change, please message us here or on social bedia before December 1st (Wed) to sign up. We will reach out to you in early December to make card pick-up arrangements. Let us know if you have any questions!

Similar to last year, we will be taking COVID-19 precautions by limiting contact with seniors. All of our card deliveries will be zero-contact - which means that, unfortunately, we will not be handing out the cards personally this year. We will be gathering the card designs, writing in them, and bagging them for each senior residence.
