We want to thank everyone for donating their time and effort to make Cards For Humanity’s first project a huge success! None of this could have possible without you - thank you for bringing a smile onto the faces of over 200 seniors. It was truly a life-changing and inspiring experience, and we are honored to spread Christmas cheer to those in our community.

To the Volunteers: Each one of you carry a bright spark of hope and joy, and we are extremely grateful to you for sharing that spark in each of your Christmas cards. Every card was given to someone who needed a smile this holiday season, and each card was a source of happiness and love. Thank you so much for your time and effort - the smiles and looks of genuine gratitude from each senior were absolutely beautiful. A big shoutout to our 22nd and 23rd Girl Guide for donating two dozen Christmas cards!

Thank you so much to Courtyard Gardens, Rosewood Manor, Columbus Residence, The Jackson Lam Adult Daycare Centre, and Pinegrove Place for letting us spread some Christmas cheer inside your senior residences. We wish each and every one of your staff a very Merry Christmas :) Special shoutout to the lovely ladies that brought us to each senior and guided us through the senior residences - you guys are amazing and your optimism radiates through the building.

A huge thank you to everyone once again for allowing this holiday season to be brighter for others. We wish everyone a happy holiday with your loved ones!

Overview

After reading a news article about the rising rate of depression in seniors, I was fueled to help make their Christmas a little brighter.  My team and I will be bringing Christmas cards to Rosewood Manor for the senior residents - AND WE NEED YOUR HELP!

Christmas Cards

We need YOU to make Christmas cards for this project!  The cards can be digitally created, but must have a handwritten message of either a traditional Christmas greeting OR "Merry Christmas!" inside.  Please refrain from personal or inappropriate messages, we reserve the right to refuse any cards we deem as improper.  Cards must have variation in design - 5 cards with the same design is fine, 20 cards with the same design is not.  Please keep card designs appropriate and as non-religious as possible - stay away from nativity scenes please, but christmas trees, ornaments, and general designs are fine.  Send us a message at the bottom if you have any questions!

Deadlines

We will collect all Christmas cards between the 9th and the 13th of December.  Please send us a message to arrange a pick-up date & place for your Christmas cards.  Sign up with your name (or your organization's name) and tell us how many cards you'll be making!
